We had a 2006 model peg perego P3 classico and loved it cause it was light, compact, and relatively sturdy. But this 2008 model was so flimsy, it even used glue on logos on the armrests. Honestly, once I opened my package, I thought the product was from a knock off brand of peg perego. Anyway, I finally bought a 2009 model with much improved handling and details.

We've had this stroller for about 1 1/2 years and I believe the bads outweigh the goods. We purchased the P3 after much research and feeling we really needed something to accommodate my 3 year old daughter and six month old son. For this reason, it served its purpose for the first year of having 2 children. She loved being able to hop on the back of the footboard when she needed to take a break from walking at the park or zoo.
But ever since my son has been walking, this stroller has been middling at best. The type of harness they have on the P3 is advertised so that your child will continue to have range of motion while in the stroller and herein lies the real problem. It simply doesn't RESTRAIN my child. When we're in a store, he can grab things simply by standing up with the harness on. Now that he's nearly two years old, he simply takes the shoulder straps down and wiggles out of it. I have found him standing up on the seat of his stroller many times. The design just doesn't make much sense to me.
As a mother of two I currently have 3 strollers (a double and a jogging single) and this is the only stroller that has this type of harness and restraint system and it's the only one he can get out of so easily! Sadly, I'll be purchasing a cheap lightweight single for outings with my son now that my daughter doesn't need to ride as much.

We love this stroller, baby is very comfortable in it, straps are easy to lock, sunshade is great. Is easy to put in the car trunk and lightweight to travel. Great product for the price, looks and feel very sturdy to me and I was looking for that when purchasing an umbrella stroller.
